About KV Picket, Secunderabad

Kendriya Vidyalaya Picket came in to existence on 1st July 1964 when Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan took over the Air force School in Picket. The students and teachers of the feeding school were absorbed into KVS. The school made a humble beginning with about 50 students in classes VI to IX and ten teachers. There was no primary wing. Some of the teachers who helped in the grooming of the Vidyalaya in the initial stages are Mrs. Padmaja, Mr. Ashwath Narayana, Mr. ALN Rao, Mrs. Premlata Reddy and Mrs. Pramila Venugopal.
